Turlock Man Shot to Death in Brentwood Sunday During Family Dispute

During a family feud, a Turlock man was shot and killed in Brentwood on Sunday.

CSU BRENTWOOD – After a family feud in Brentwood on Sunday afternoon, one man died, and another was arrested.

On the 160 block of Sycamore Ave., police responded to a shooting allegation at 4:23 p.m. Outside the apartment complex, officers discovered a 43-year-old Turlock man with a single gunshot wound.

The subject was pronounced dead at the spot. The homicide was the result of a family conflict, according to Brentwood police.

The suspect was linked to the victim, according to investigators, and was taken into custody without incident. At the crime scene, the gun believed to have been used in the shooting was discovered. Authorities claim that no specific explanation for the murder has been found.
