January has come, and many of your favorite shows have returned after their winter hiatuses, including NBC’s greatest blockbusters like the One Chicago dramas and Law & Order series. There are plenty of fantastic returning favorites to enjoy, but The Voice season 22 is noticeably absent from NBC’s January lineup.
The Voice has been a staple on NBC for more than a decade, with two seasons airing each year: one in the fall and one in the spring, with the latter, generally beginning around the new year.
NBC, on the other hand, is handling things a little differently this year. Rather than showing a new season in the spring, NBC has decided to run just one cycle of The Voice this season, resulting in a new season of the network’s most popular reality show.
The release date for season 22 of The Voice has been set.
NBC has not yet revealed when the next season of The Voice will premiere, but it has confirmed that season 22 will premiere sometime this autumn as part of the network’s Fall 2022 program.
If history repeats itself, The Voice season 22 will premiere in September 2022, with the show airing twice a week on Monday and Tuesday evenings. If NBC starts its autumn season at the same time as it does in previous years, which is the third week of the month, The Voice season 22 might premiere on Monday, September 19, 2022.
Coaches for season 22 of The Voice
Who will return for the upcoming season of The Voice, which will premiere this fall? That, too, remains a mystery since NBC has yet to disclose which, if any, coaches will return for Season 22.
Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend are all expected to return for the next season, according to the latest reports. Shelton has featured on every season of the program since its inception, making his reappearance the most probable of the show’s recent coaches.
Clarkson and Legend, who joined the series in seasons 14 and 16, respectively, are also slated to return for season 22 this autumn.
Ariana Grande, on the other hand? Her future on the program is the greatest unknown of them all, since the chair she occupied this season has been home to a revolving panel of coaches in previous years, with Grande the latest in a long line of artists to join Shelton, Clarkson, and Legend.
