CSU (INDIANAPOLIS) — According to authorities, a 26-year-old male was arrested and charged with attempted murder for his suspected role in a Christmas Eve gunshot.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Akeem Eichelberger was arrested on Monday and charged with attempted murder on Friday.
Just after 11:00 p.m., a gunshot occurred at a petrol station in the 4400 block of East Washington Street. According to authorities, a male was shot in the right arm and left leg.
When he was taken to the hospital, he was in good condition.
There was no additional information concerning the circumstances of the arrest.
