A $10,000 reward has been offered in the case of a missing lady from Fallbrook.
FALLBROOK — Official stated a $10,000 reward on Wednesday for information leading of a woman who went missing in Fallbrook last month.
According to the sdsheriff, Elena Carlotta Roy allegedly wandered away from her Woodcreek Drive house on the afternoon of Nov. 3. She was 83 yrs old, and her 84th birthday had just passed.
Despite extensive searches by deputies, neighbors, and search-and-rescue volunteers in the remote neighborhood, her whereabouts remain unknown, according to the department, which has issued repeated calls for surrounding homeowners to look for her on their homes.
Lt. Thomas Seiver of the sheriff’s department stated there was no proof of wrongdoing.
Roy is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 115 pounds, with brownish-gray hair and brown eyes, and suffers from dementia. She went away from her house once last year. Elena Charlotta Lorea and Elena Charlotte Roy are two more names she has used.
A video of Roy taken one day before she disappeared from a Fallbrook grocery store has been released by the Sheriff’s Department. She was last seen wearing black jeans, a gray and white short-sleeved blouse, blue and brown shoes, a tan hat, a brown handbag, and tan-framed glasses, according to detectives.
In addition to a $1,000 reward provided by San Diego County Crime Stoppers, Roy’s family is offering a $9,000 reward for information leading to her location.
