TEXARKANA, TEXAS – Two men died in last night’s shooting. They are Deangelo Handy and Rikolah Young. They are 18 years old, from Texarkana, Texas. One man was shot and is currently in the hospital. He is 17 years old, from Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. He has been shot before, but this time it was very bad because he was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
On Monday, at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, officers responded to an area after someone called 911 and said that he saw a man who was bleeding from his mouth and nose. At first, when the first officer arrived at the scene, he found a 17-year-old boy lying in the yard of one of the apartments. He had been shot. Officers found two people inside the apartment who had been shot. One of them died while the other one went to a hospital to get help.
