Man Found Dead Inside West Toledo Hotel; Incident Ruled a Homicide

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo police are investigating the 68th homicide of this year. The police found a man who was dead in a hotel. They think it happened on Sunday.

Police responded to the Relax Inn on Telegraph Road about 9 a.m. They wanted to make sure an individual was safe. William Williams, 53, was found dead.

The Lucas County Coroner did an autopsy Monday. He found out that the person died because of a crime. Two people were arrested for the crime, and they were charged with felonious assault.

According to a statement, the victim was strangled. Bowlus-Houck had Williams’ credit cards and other belongings on him.
