LOUISVILLE, Ky. (CSU) – A woman was found outside her home with a gunshot wound. She is being treated.
Police said that they found the woman who had been shot in the 1200 block of Algonquin Parkway. Police officers responded after someone called and said that they heard a shot.
The victim told the officers that she found a man vandalizing her property. She went outside with a gun to stop him, but he became strong and got the gun from her. He shot her and then ran away.
The woman’s injuries are not life-threatening.
