Arrest made in Lebanon Triple homicide

LEBANON, Ind. (CSU) – A man has been arrested for a September murder in Lebanon. The Police Department said they have the person who is responsible.

The police arrested Chad Grimball. He killed Larry Stogsdill, Brannon Martin, and Grace Bishop. They found him in Thorntown, Indiana. Police were called to the 400 block of East Walnut Street on September 8 for a report of three people dead. This is a residential area where I-65 and State Road 39 intersect.

An autopsy was done on each person, and it found that they all died of the same thing.

We do not know what the three people were doing inside the apartment. We were told that none of them is on the lease for this place, but someone came to check up on them late at night and found them in different parts of the house.

Police said Grimball would be arrested on December 8 because he was already in jail. But the police waited until October 7, and before they could arrest him, he got out of jail.

Grimball is accused of these charges:

Three counts of murder

  • handgun without a license
  • a firearm without a license
  • One count of a domestic batterer who has a gun.
