Traffic Safety And Speed Enforcement Operation On Budds Creek Road

Maryland’s CHARLOTTE HALL – Officers from the CCSO Traffic Operations Unit and Patrol performed a traffic enforcement assignment on July 23 that was focused on safety and speeding offences near Budds Creek Road as part of their ongoing commitment to resolve traffic complaints throughout the county.

58 vehicles were stopped during the operation, and tickets were issued for offences related to speed, seatbelts, registration, driving without a licence, driving while a licence is suspended, and operating a motorbike without the necessary licence.

Officers apprehended the rider of a stolen motorcycle, 35-year-old Darrell Allen Davidson of Washington, D.C. The Traffic Operations Unit will keep concentrating on traffic assignments in different counties to improve road safety. These operations are carried out in regions where there are crash data, complaints from the public, and patrol observations.

The Maryland Highway Safety Office’s Speed Enforcement Grant programme provided funding for this particular detail. Concerns about traffic safety can be sent to [email protected].
