“Twenty years ago, a series of terrible things almost tore the working-class town of Millwood in two. Now, in the present day, a group of different teenage girls, a new set of “Little Liars,” are being tormented by an unknown “Assailant” and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed twenty years ago, as well as their own.”
This time, Pretty Little Liars Original Sin has been called a darker, newer, more modern, and “horror-tinged” show. This makes sense since the reboot is being led by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the creator of shows like Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale, and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, who worked on CAOS as a staff writer.
In some interviews, Aguirre and Calhoon talked about how much they love me. The characters that Marlene King and her famous casts make have to treat the original series like canon and come up with something new. They were talking about the first season of PLL, which aired in 2010.

The show started being made in August 2021, and the last scene was shot in Upstate New York on April 27, 2022.
