THOMASVILLE, N.C. — The Thomasville Police Department said a man died after he was shot Saturday night.
Elvin Yomar Barbosa Jimenez, 41, was at his house on Culbreth Avenue at the time of the incident, according to detectives. According to witnesses, the bullets were fired from outside the home along the road.
Captain Brad Saintsing stated, “We are urging the community to please come forward if you have any information on Mr. Jimenez’s tragic death.” “We think that someone has information that may assist law enforcement in solving this case.”
Detectives are still investigating the incident.
