A gunshot was reported in the 600 block of Bell Street near Shell Road, and Hampton Police Division responded. Just after 7:15 p.m., the phone rang. Officers discovered a gunshot wound on an adult man on the site. With life-threatening injuries, the guy was sent to a nearby hospital.
Sgt. R.C. Williams stated in a statement that the victim was shot during an altercation by a known person. The culprit is being hunted down by investigators. According to authorities, the incident’s purpose and circumstances are still being investigated.
