CSU/ Police are investigating a shooting in Shreveport’s Queensborough area on Thursday night.
At 6:37 p.m., Shreveport police went to an emergency call in the 2700 block of W. College Dr., where they discovered a young male with a gunshot wound to the face. He rushed to his house after being shot, according to authorities. According to reports, the assault took place on the 2200 block of Virginia Avenue.
According to officials, he was brought to the hospital and his injuries do not seem to be life-threatening. The incident’s inquiry is still underway. The SPD has not said whether or not a suspect has been apprehended.
