ECTOR COUNTY, TEXAS (CSU) – On January 18, one individual was killed in a deadly car accident in Ector County.
Two vehicles were involved in this collision, which happened 15 miles east of Monahans.
Arnoldo Esquivel De La Rosa, 28, of Denton, Texas, was killed in the collision, while Raul Villanueva, 36, of Monahans, Texas, is being treated at Medical Center Hospital for critical injuries.
According to the preliminary investigation, Villanueva was heading east in the westbound lane of Interstate 20, while De La Rosa was traveling west in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20. Villanueva collided with De La Rosa when he was driving in the wrong way.
Both males were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
