According to the Houston Police Department, a guy was discovered dead inside a tent in the Sawyer Yards neighborhood last week with injuries to his head and neck.
According to HPD, the victim’s identity, a 59-year-old male, was being validated by Harris County’s medical examiner as of Tuesday.
Officers arrived at 1100 Elder Rd. at 11:15 a.m. on Jan. 14 to discover the male in the early stages of decomposition inside a tent. According to authorities, a first autopsy performed by the medical examiner revealed indications of blunt force damage to the head and neck region.
According to HPD, there were no known suspects or witnesses as of Tuesday.
