NEW YORK — WHEATFIELD, N.Y. — A man was stabbed to death inside a residence in Niagara County on Tuesday night.
Niagara County Sheriff’s officers and EMS responded to a 911 call reporting a man had been stabbed inside a Wheatfield residence around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, when deputies arrived at the home on 2425 Niagara Road, they discovered one male with apparent stab wounds. The sufferer was provided immediate first aid. However, he died on the spot as a result of his injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office believes this was a one-time occurrence, and a suspect in the stabbing is being sought. Officials claim that the community is not in danger.
The victim’s identity is being suppressed until his family has been contacted.
