BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — A man from Virginia was found unresponsive at the Roman Baths in Berkeley Springs State Park. Morgan County Sheriff KC Bohrer says this happened on Monday evening.
The staff at the park went to see the patron around 5:30 p.m. after he had gone over his time period in the baths.
The 71-year-old man has been pronounced dead.
The body of the man will be sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
A man’s name has not been released. A police officer said their department is trying to notify the person’s family.
Bohrer said that there is no risk to the public.
The death of somebody is being investigated.
