Madison police say a man robbed a Walgreens on the Far West Side of Madison.
According to the Madison Police Department, a guy robbed a Walgreens on the Far West Side on Friday evening, getting off with around $250 in cash.
According to police Lt. Jennifer Hannah, the man entered the business at 7810 Mineral Point Road at 7:20 p.m. and made “a couple of laps within the store.” She claimed he ultimately came to a halt at the picture desk and demanded cash from the register.
Hannah claimed the thief pretended to have a pistol hidden beneath his sweatshirt and threatened to shoot the employee many times. She did say, though, that no weapon was observed.
According to Hannah, he then exited the business with the cash.
