El Paso Violent Crime Teen Stabbed at Peter Piper Pizza; 3 Wounded in Other Shootings

Three people were injured in separate gunshots in El Paso, including a teen who was stabbed inside Peter Piper Pizza. In a flurry of unconnected violence in El Paso over the weekend, a 14-year-old child was stabbed, and a shotgun was discharged outside a Peter Piper Pizza shop.

Shootings in an alley near Downtown and outside a pub on the far East Side were among the occurrences.

The instances are all being investigated, according to El Paso police authorities. No arrests had been made.

In a South Side alley, a man was shot.
A guy was discovered laying on a sidewalk in the 1100 block of Myrtle Avenue near the Opportunity Center for the Homeless in the Magoffin district east of Downtown about 7 p.m. Friday, bleeding from a gunshot wound to his leg.

Kenneth Ray Green, 53, of El Paso, had been shot in an alley by an unknown individual, according to authorities. Officers examined the area but were unable to locate any suspects.

Green was brought to El Paso’s University Medical Center, where he was treated and discharged.

At Peter Piper Pizza, a teen was stabbed.

A 14-year-old kid was critically injured after he was attacked and stabbed by a gang outside Peter Piper Pizza on 9450 Dyer St. in the Northeast on Saturday night, according to police.

The youngster got into an altercation with someone inside the restaurant just before 7 p.m. He was attacked by three guys who got out of a vehicle and started hitting, kicking, and stabbing him as he went outside, according to a police press release.

The offenders fired a shotgun cartridge as they drove away, prompting others in the parking lot to scurry back inside the restaurant for safety, according to authorities. The shotgun explosion caused no injuries.

With significant injuries, the adolescent was rushed to the hospital. The gang unit of the police department is investigating the attack.

In the Northeast, there was an unintentional gunshot. A guy was accidentally shot in the chest by his roommate as they were handling weapons in another incident, according to authorities.

Saturday morning at about 7 a.m., a gunshot happened in the 11600 block of Dyer Street in the Northeast. A patient was being treated for a gunshot wound to the chest when patrol officers arrived in Sierra Providence Northeast, according to police.

According to authorities, the wound was not life-threatening. The identity of the injured guy was not revealed.

On the road to Zaragoza, there is a shooting.

According to authorities, a 22-year-old male was shot and injured early Sunday following a confrontation at a pub on the Far East Side.

Cristian Lopez was shot in the 1700 block of North Zaragoza Road in the Zaraplex shopping district at around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, according to police. Del Sol Medical Center treated Lopez and discharged him. The probe is still ongoing.
