Decriminalization in New York Will Lead to More Crime

In New York, decriminalization will lead to an increase in crime.

So, here we go again, guys. The brand-new district attorney for Manhattan, New York, has gone out and promised all of his assistant attorneys that those who commit severe crimes would not be sentenced to prison. To put it another way, you have to kill someone before he will take your case and seek jail time.

So, if a mom-and-pop store is robbed at gunpoint and the robber is apprehended, the criminal will not be sentenced to prison. Can you imagine yourself or me staring down a gun’s barrel? His opinion is that as long as no one is wounded, everything is fine. I’d like to see him and his wife exit their vehicle and peer down a pistol barrel. Would he crap in his pants or feel the same way?

Of course, New York is a heavily Democratic state, and Manhattan is a wealthy white neighborhood. Because these are the same folks that placed Trump in power, I expect criminals to just head to Manhattan and try their luck with whatever crime they want to do. Let’s see how long the rich White people who placed this guy in the office are willing to put up with the new atrocities that will inevitably occur, not if they will occur. It will take place. We live in a sad world where everyone wants to be the good guy. Well, lock and load it is.
