Man Charged After Death of 22-Year-Old Found Seriously Injured in Car Park

After the death of a 22-year-old woman who was found critically injured in a car park, a man was prosecuted. A guy has been charged with the death of another man who was found critically injured in a parking lot.

Around 3.50 p.m. on Sunday, Jan 2, Adam Anderson, 22, was found in a car park off Ann Street in Greenock, Inverclyde. Mr. Anderson, a Greenock resident, was transferred to the Inverclyde Royal Hospital but died shortly after.

A 27-year-old male has been detained and charged in connection with the death, according to Police Scotland. He is set to appear in Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday.

“Our sympathies are with Adam’s family and friends at this sad time,” Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Grainger said. “We’d like to thank the general public as well for their assistance with our investigation.”
