Second Suspect Charged for Alleged Role in Midway Park Armed Robbery

According to law authorities, two individuals have been charged for their alleged participation in an armed robbery that happened in Onslow County last month.

Another arrest has been made in association with a stolen pistol, according to the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office. Jalen Malik Faison, 21, of Warsaw, was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon and larceny on December 29. According to the sheriff’s office, he was sent to the Onslow County Detention Center on a $35,000 secured bail.

On December 7, Onslow sheriff’s officers responded to a complaint of a two-person armed robbery in progress on Wood Road in Midway Park, according to a statement from the agency. According to the announcement, the suspects’ car departed the site before deputies arrived, and the suspects tossed guns into the woods.

According to the announcement, the car inhabited by Faison and Jahquez Meadows-White was subsequently recovered, and a K-9 was able to detect an AR-15 rifle and a stolen one.40 caliber pistol. Both individuals were detained and charged with having a stolen handgun, possessing up to a half-ounce of marijuana, and possessing marijuana drug paraphernalia. A $5,000 bond was imposed.

Meadows-White, 19, of Rocky Run Road, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and larceny on December 9 while in the Onslow County Detention Center. Prior to his arrest on December 29, Faison had been bailed out on the first charges.
