According to authorities, a Tennessee man was detained after the corpse of his roommate was discovered in a suitcase near a Memphis garbage.
According to CSU World Record, Julian Summers, 30, has been charged with second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and mistreatment of a corpse after the body of his roommate Bruce Jeffries, 63, was discovered in a bag on December 12.
Police officials definitely recognized Jeffries’ corpse on December 20, according to the network.
When officers unzipped the luggage, they discovered Jeffries had died as a result of blunt force injuries to the head, according to officers.
A witness informed detectives that they saw Summers pull the suitcase Jeffries’ corpse was recovered in through an alley near Pine and Eastmoreland in Midtown about 10 a.m. on December 12.
According to Memphis police, they discovered a blood trail that went to the Broad Moor apartment complex on South Cleveland.
According to CSU World Record, detectives discovered traces of a scuffle and blood inside the flat after examining it. Summers and Jeffries have been housemates for the last two years, according to authorities.

According to warrants acquired by CBS 17 in February, the corpse discovered inside the suitcase along the Neuse River in Wake County was that of Brittany Smith, a 28-year-old woman who had gone missing.
Wake County Sheriff’s Office officers detained Thomas Clayton Johnson and Emmalei Grace Trevathan during a traffic check in Raleigh.
