Police are looking into a car shooting in downtown Phoenix that killed one person.
PHOENIX (CSU) — Detectives are looking into a shooting in downtown Phoenix that left one individual dead inside a shot-up car on Wednesday.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, one individual was discovered in a car abandoned near the junction of 19th Avenue and Camelback Road. The car was abandoned in the neighborhood, with gunshot holes in the driver’s and passenger’s windows.
Officials have yet to reveal what prompted the shooting, the identity of the deceased, or whether there were any additional casualties.
While police investigate the incident, the crossing will be blocked indefinitely. During such time, the light rail in the neighborhood will be cut.
