Body Found in Dayton Likely Victim of October Hit-and-Run

DAYTON, Ohio (CSU) – A man whose body was recovered earlier this month was most likely the victim of a hit-and-run in October, according to authorities.

According to a police press release, the corpse of Richard Hunt, 53, was discovered near a tree line on December 7. According to investigators, Hunt was most likely struck by a car in October, but the event was never reported.

The driver of the car responsible is now being sought by police. According to the investigators, any information may be relevant.
