Three people were found dead in a house. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case.
3 people, a man, and his 2 adult daughters were discovered by one of their other daughters and the two women’s sisters. They were found in the 5200 block of Evanwood Avenue.
The names and ages of the victims have not yet been released because we are waiting for family members to be notified.
The fire department went inside the home to make sure it was safe for the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office started working at the house about 5:15 p.m., said Captain Buschow.
Buschow said that there were no signs of forced entry or evidence of a crime.
“This is an unusual call because usually there is something that points to murder or suicide. This just wasn’t the case,” said Wendell Campbell of the Sheriff’s Office.
The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office will do an autopsy to find out what caused someone’s death.
