One Arrested After Shooting at Florence Nightclub

CSU) FLORENCE, S.C. — In an early morning night club shooting in Florence on Thursday, one suspect was detained and accused.

According to Maj. Michael Nunn of the sheriff’s office, the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. Thursday at the Cheetah Florence Gentleman’s Club on West Lucas Street in Florence.

James Scott, Jr., 45, was detained on the scene and charged with attempted murder, weapon possession during a violent crime, and weapon possession by a convicted violent offender.
