Police Arrest Armed Intruder After School at Ponchatoula Junior High

NEW ORLEANS — An armed intruder was arrested at Ponchatoula Junior High after school hours. The police caught the bad guy without any problems.

Danny Brady is 41 years old. He lives at 755 E. Beech St., Ponchatoula, LA. Police found him with a large fixed blade knife and a glass water pipe that contained an amount of unsmoked meth.

A teacher saw Brady before 5 p.m. and called the police. The police found a pellet gun in Brady’s car when he was parked outside the school. When the Investigators arrived, they found that Brady had broken into another teacher’s office. He broke in when he knew that the other teacher was not there at that moment.

School officials told the students to go away from the field for soccer practice because it could be dangerous. Brady was booked on charges including charges of carrying a gun into a school with drugs, causing an emergency state, stalking, and trespassing.

Brady was wanted because he committed a crime against his teacher.
