DURHAM, N.C. (CSU) – Two people are dead, and four others were shot. All of these people are juveniles. This happened early this morning off Eugene Street in Durham.

CSU learned that a shooting occurred at 3:00 a.m. on Monday. There were six people shot after a black SUV hit a pole.

Two people died at the scene. They are both males, but we do not know how old they are. One person remains in critical condition; three females and another man were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Chief Patrice Andrews said that this shooting does not seem to be random. Burton Elementary School will be a remote learning school today because there is a crime scene in the area.
