Man Dies of a Possible Overdose in Milwaukee Police Custody

Police officers in Milwaukee are trying to find out what happened to a man who died.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says that a 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with a drug investigation during a traffic stop on Wednesday, and the police chief said they were investigating.

An officer took this person to the police station. They realized that the person needed medical attention, so they brought him to a hospital. The doctor said he was okay and then brought him back to the police station.

He had an emergency and got taken to another hospital. He died there.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office said that it is investigating the death as a probable drug overdose. The West Allis Police Department is also investigating what happened.

Two Milwaukee officers have been put on leave so they can do an investigation.

There is a dead man, and we don’t know his family’s name.
