Man fatally Shot Outside a Northeast Baltimore Home Thursday Morning Identified As city DPW Employee

Baltimore officials have identified the man who was shot and killed outside a home in Northeast Baltimore on Thursday morning. He worked for the city. He fixed things. The incident happened in Waltherson, a neighborhood. The person who did it worked for the Department of Public Works.

Police found Rogers in front of a house on the address at 8:20 am. Rogers was taken to John Hopkins at Bayview Medical Center. He was pronounced dead there. Police do not yet know who committed the crime. They will give someone $4,000 if they tell them who committed the crime.

There are 320 homicides in the city this year. There were 310 at the same time last year. A man was shot on Thursday evening, but the police do not have much information about what happened. Police officers from the Southern District were called to a hospital on Tuesday night for a report of a shooting. They found someone who was shot but not killed.

Police said the man was not cooperative when questioned by investigators. They don’t know where he was shot, but they are investigating it.
