According to a poll, 57% of people do not like how President Joe Biden is handling the issue of crime, while only 39% approve.
Biden’s rating was bad before the verdict came back of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. The verdict that said he was not guilty of all five charges made Biden angry. Biden’s rating came before someone who ran over their girlfriend, went to jail, and then drove their car into a Christmas parade. This killed six people and injured 60.
Biden’s low rating on crime came before “flash mobs.” These mobs of thieves stole things like Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, and Apple. They took the stuff in minutes. It came before the guilty verdicts came in against the three white men who killed Ahmaud Arbery, who was Black.
The media tried to make Rittenhouse’s crime seem like it was racist. Rittenhouse is white, as are the three people he shot. The lead prosecutor and his deputy were both white, and so were Rittenhouse’s defense attorney and his deputy. The judge was also white. But what these incidents with racial overtones mean is that crime will be a big issue in 2022 and 2024. And the Democrats are not on the side of America’s majority.
The latest statistics on murders and homicides in 2021 show that this issue will continue to be important. On Thanksgiving Day, the Washington Post reported that Washington D.C. had 200 homicides this year. This is more than last year when there were only 175 in total by this time of the year. There will be 30% more homicides in 2020 than in 2019.
Baltimore has a smaller population than D.C., but there have been 300 murders in Baltimore this year. That is twice as many murders as there are in D.C.
In Philadelphia, America’s sixth most populous city, there have been 503 victims of murder.
Who is doing all this shooting, knifing, and killing? Who are the victims of these things?
Heather Mac Donald, who is among the leading statisticians of crime, tells us about New York. She says that people in New York are less likely to get robbed than in many other cities. In 2020, black people were 72% of all shooting suspects. We know this because they are the victims and witnesses. White people were less than 2% of all shooting suspects based on victim and witness descriptions.
A black New Yorker is 50 times more likely to commit a crime than a white New Yorker. Blacks are 63% of the people who murder other people. Whites are 6%. That 6% is only in domestic violence cases and not in murders in the streets. Black people are disproportionately the shooters and killers in America. Black people are also disproportionately the victims of these shootings and killings. If Black Lives Matter wants to preserve black lives, they should look to their own communities where most of the people who do this come from.
There will be many more people who die of murder than the Proud Boys, Three Percenters, Oath Keepers, white vigilantes, white supremacists, or rogue white cops that shot or stabbed them.
In 2022 and 2024, it could be a repeat of the mid-’60s. In that time period, conservatives were most popular when they said things like “law and order,” which liberals called code words for racism. I would say to put them in a place where they can’t do anything. Then, there were riots in Harlem and Watts in 1964 and 1965. People were very angry at the police. There was also trouble in Newark and Detroit in 1967. And then people were angry at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who was killed by someone on April 4, 1968. That year there was also a lot of crime that happened on the streets all around the country.
The anti-war protests and riots kept Lyndon B. Johnson locked up in the White House at the end of his days in 1968. They also tore apart the Democratic convention in Chicago.
Today’s Democratic Party is associated with ending bail for people who have been arrested, emptying prisons, and embracing the BLM and Antifa protests.
Joe Biden is the former Vice President of the United States. He was in office from 2009 until 2017. When he was in office, he did not do much. But now, Joe Biden is running for president in 2020 and wants to make changes for America.
When running for president in 1972, Democrats would say ‘Law and order with justice.’ I would say to put them in a place where they can’t do anything.
