CSU – Muscle Shoals, Alabama Samuel Brycin Fuqua was apprehended and held as a suspect on Friday in connection with the shooting of a 22-year-old female victim at 812 6th Street.
The female victim with a gunshot wound to the head was treated by Muscle Shoals Firemen and Keller EMS Staff after the Muscle Shoal Police Department judged the area safe. Jalisa Lashea Box of Florence, Alabama was named as the victim.
Officers and investigators discovered that the shooting was the result of a domestic incident that occurred both inside and outside the home. Fuqua then departed the area in a car and drove to a Murphy Oil gas station before exiting and walking to Sheffield, Alabama.
MSPD discovered Sheffield’s address for Fuqua. Using tips from the public, the Sheffield Police Department moved fast to find Fuqua. At a home on Sheffield’s 8th Avenue, Fuqua was caught.
Following that, Fuqua was apprehended and safely transferred to the MSPD. Fuqua is facing a charge of attempted murder, along with additional counts, and MSPD is currently attempting to secure an arrest warrant for him.
Box is in a stable condition and is anticipated to make a full recovery.
