Suspect Shot, Killed During Crime Spree

According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, a criminal spree that included a murder, shooting, robbery, and carjacking on Wednesday finished with one of the two suspects dying from a gunshot wound.

The death of the suspect is being investigated as a homicide by deputies. However, how the suspect was shot and killed remains a mystery. A firearm was found near the suspect’s body by investigators.

The other suspect, a minor, was taken into custody by deputies and taken to the Kern County Juvenile Hall.

A carjacking in Anaheim sparked a four-day crime spree. In Lompoc, California on Sunday, a guy was gunned down by the two of them. In Lompoc and Buellton, California, three days later, the armed robbery and shooting of weapons occurred.

In Paso Robles, SLO County Sheriff’s deputies located the suspects. After being chased by authorities, the criminals took Highway 46 east and entered Kern County.

After abandoning their vehicle near Kecks Road, south of Highway 46, the suspects escaped into a nearby orchard.

After that, the suspects are accused of stealing an ATV. A few kilometres east of the orchard, a witness saw two men sprinting northward near an apparent abandoned ATV.

Sheriff’s deputies in Kern County, California, saw the two suspects hiding near a canal. The kid was taken into custody without additional incident by the police. The other suspect was found dead with a gunshot wound.

Police departments in Kern, Lompoc and Anaheim, as well as those in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties, are all involved in an investigation into the death of a 16-year-old girl in Lompoc.
