Knoxville Police Arrest 5, Shut Down Alleged Drug Home in East Knoxville

(CSU) — KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department has arrested four persons after complaints of drug activity, including several drug overdoses, at a residence between I-40 and Asheville Highway in Knoxville.

The four were detained inside a residence in the 5500 block of Dandyline Drive in Knoxville after police executed a search warrant at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15.

Maintaining a home for drug purposes is charged against James Nelson, James Helsel, Zackery Lively, and Lisa Williford. Manufacture, Sale, or Delivery of Controlled Substance was also filed against Helsel and Lively. According to a Knoxville police official, Williford was charged with Criminal Impersonation.

According to officers who carried out the search warrant, they discovered 13 grammes of methamphetamine, heroin, a pistol, and numerous drug paraphernalia. Kasandra Roggeman, 28, was also discovered inside the house and detained on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear on an earlier theft accusation.
