In a letter to Spotify workers, the company’s chairwoman noted that Joe Rogan’s prior podcast episodes do not represent the company’s morals. The letter was issued to employees of Spotify.
According to the letter, Joe and his crew are currently negotiating with the firm about the show’s graphic material. That includes Joe’s use of racial slurs and other offensive words. Rogan chose to delete many episodes from his podcast after they addressed the issue. Ek also brought up Joe’s apologies, which he said was made public on Saturday.
Despite the growing unhappiness among artists and subscribers, the corporation continues to safeguard one of its most well-known podcasters (considered a crucial part of its long-term plans).
