Macon Georgia 1 teen dead, 1 teen hospitalized after Wednesday night shooting

After a gunshot on Wednesday night, one adolescent was killed and another was injured.

MACON, Ga. (CSU) – After being shot in Macon on Wednesday, a 15-year-old kid died and another 15-year-old boy remains in the hospital.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened just after 7 p.m. on the 1700 block of Wren Avenue.

Witnesses told detectives that the two teenagers were standing outside a residence when bullets were fired, probably from a passing automobile.

Atrium Health Navicent pronounced Macon resident Carmelo Ross dead. The other adolescent is doing well at Atrium Health Navicent.
