Driver in Custody After High Speed Pursuit Through San Fernando Valley

The motorist was apprehended after a high-speed chase through the San Fernando Valley. A silver vehicle was being pursued by the Los Angeles Police Department across the San Fernando Valley on Sunday night.

The driver was seen speeding through Chatsworth, Winnetka, and Tarzana before coming to a halt in Tarzana. Before police units arrived behind the car, the LAPD blimp was tracking the pursuit overhead.

When he arrived at a dead end, the driver was seen driving on the wrong side of the road and making a U-turn. When the car slammed with the sidewalk, spinning out of control and crashing into a neighboring fence, the chase came to an end.

Officers took him to jail after he cooperated with them. On Reseda Boulevard and Paseo Nuevo Drive in Tarzana, the chase came to a stop.

Other information was not readily accessible.
