Third Buffalo Teen Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder in Vicious Downtown Attack

In a brutal downtown attack, a third Buffalo juvenile pleaded guilty to attempted murder.

In connection with a brutal attack last autumn in downtown Buffalo, a 15-year-old has become the third individual to plead guilty to second-degree attempted murder.

The Erie County District Attorney’s Office said that Larry Durham Jr., of Buffalo, was guilty of trampling a 64-year-old man on Sept. 22 near Ellicott Street and Broadway.

Aaron Gallon, 18, and Armontae Moss, 16, both of Buffalo, pled guilty last week to their roles in the attack, which resulted in the victim suffering serious head trauma and skull fractures.

Durham’s sentencing is set for June 7. He might be sentenced to 3 1/3 to 10 years in prison.

Initially, the three were accused of attempted murder, gang assault, and assault.
