JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA — According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a guy was shot early Friday morning in the Paxon neighborhood and is expected to be OK.
At 1:39 a.m., officers were summoned to the 1500 block of Melson Avenue. to investigate a person shot. They found an adult victim with a single gunshot wound to his upper torso when they arrived, they say.
According to authorities, the victim, a man in his 60s, is expected to make a complete recovery and was treated for his injuries at a nearby hospital.
