Nine People Killed in Dominican Republic Private Jet Crash

Nine people died Wednesday when a plane crashed and made an emergency landing at Santo Domingo’s airport. The plane belongs to the company Helidosa Aviation Group.

Seven people died. Six of them were foreigners, and one was Dominican. The other six people are not from any country that is known.

Among the victims of the hurricane was a Puerto Rican music producer named Jose A. Hernandez, also known as “Flow La Movie.” He died with his wife and child.

Hernandez mainly sang a song called “Te Bote.”

His death led to lots of messages from Puerto Rican and other Latin artists, including superstar J Balvin and famed pop singer Ricardo Montaner.

A plane was flying to Florida, but it had to make an emergency landing. It crashed only 15 minutes after takeoff. The flight began at the Dominican Republic airport.

The long-range Gulfstream GIVSP jet was headed to Miami. Helidosa said so.

This accident has caused us great pain and sorrow. We ask that you join us in mourning for these families.

The cause of the crash is not yet known.

Helidosa is working with air traffic accident authorities and the civil aviation board.
