A University of Guelph student is using a social media app called TikTok to promote a type of dwarfism called Achondroplasia.
Isabella Lamanna started posting videos on TikTok during the pandemic.
She talks about popular trends in her videos, as well as the difficulties she has as a person with dwarfism.
“We’re just like everyone else,” said Lamanna.
The whole goal is to teach people about our condition. Then they won’t be so surprised if they see someone with dwarfism in public.
She has more than 900,000 followers on the social media platform.
