Selling the OC, a reality series, has finally premiered on Netflix. The programme centres on the Newport Beach, California-based new real estate division of The Oppenheim Group. This season did not hold back on the drama, as was to be expected. There were also a tonne of lavish coastal properties, making you want to fly right away to Orange County! Adam DiVello is the creator of the brand-new Netflix original series Selling the OC. Selling Tampa was the first spinoff series to the popular reality series Selling Sunset, and this one is the second. Brett and Jason Oppenheim made the decision to establish a second office on the Orange County coast following the enormous success of The Oppenheim Group’s Los Angeles branch. They took care to choose a team of realtors that they think have what it takes to be the top in the nation.
Alex Hall, Alexandra Jarvis, Alexandra Rose, Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall, Gio Helou, Kayla Cardona, Polly Brindle, Lauren Brito, Sean Palmieri, and Tyler Stanaland are the cast members of Selling the OC.
So, will there be a second season of Selling the OC? What we do know is included below!
Is there a second season of Selling the OC?
Presently, it is unclear. Selling the OC only debuted on August 24, thus it will probably be some time before the streamer decides the show’s future. The decision-making process at Netflix normally takes a month or more. Netflix occasionally grants early renewals, but it seldom does so for brand-new programmes.
The number of viewers is the major factor in a show’s renewal. There’s a fair chance the streamer will approve a second season if enough people watch the reality series (from beginning to end) in the first four weeks of its availability. Of course, other aspects like production expenses, social engagement, etc. also come into play when Netflix makes a choice. But viewership figures are the key element.
Netflix has had great success with Selling Sunset, and the series was just picked up for a sixth and seventh season. Selling Tampa, a spinoff that debuted in December 2021, hasn’t yet had its second season renewed.
