Prison Sentence for Fentanyl Crime for A Huntington Man

W.VaHUNTINGTON .’s – For distributing fentanyl, Tekoa Rivers, 22, of Huntington, was given a sentence today of one year and six months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Accused of selling around 10 grammes of fentanyl to a secret informant on Third Avenue in Huntington on April 29, 2021, according to court records and testimony given in court.

During the announcement, United States Attorney Will Thompson praised the Drug Enforcement Administration’s investigational efforts (DEA). Judge Robert C. Chambers of the United States District Court handed down the punishment. Case prosecution was handled by Assistant US Attorney Monica D. Coleman.
