Man Charged After Leaving Janesville Institution

MIDDLETON – A man was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin on charges that he fled the Janesville Rock Valley Community Programs Center.

According to the indictment, William L. Paul, 41, did not appear at the centre on April 29 as required after being found guilty of a felony in northern Illinois. On Tuesday, Paul was taken into custody in Orlando, Florida.

Paul may receive a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison if found guilty. The U.S. Marshals Service and the Orlando, Florida Police Department collaborated on the investigation that led to the charge against him.
