The Vermont State Police are looking into potential hate crimes.
VtISLE .’s LA MOTTE (CSU) – On Saturday morning on Isle La Motte, Vermont State Police are looking into a potential hate crime.
Fire departments were summoned to a home in Isle La Motte shortly after 1:00 a.m., according to police, for allegations of flags that had been lit ablaze.
A “progress pride banner” and a “trans pride flag” were set on fire, according to the investigation.
According to police, there have been a number of cases like this in the neighbourhood during the past month. The Attorney General’s Office has been advised by the Vermont State Police that this case may involve a hate crime.
