Trouble Atlanta Rapper Killed in Home Invasion

Trouble, a US rapper who worked with Drake and The Weeknd during his career, died at the age of 34. Drake is one of the many celebrities who have paid respect to the rapper after his death was announced.

On Sunday, local officials announced the artist’s death, whose real name was Mariel Semonte Orr. Orr was shot and declared dead in an apartment in Conyers, Georgia, according to a spokeswoman for the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office.

Orr was seeing a woman about 25 miles from his house in Atlanta at the time of the attack.

‘A source of inspiration’

Jamichael Jones, 33, is wanted on suspicion of murder, house invasion, and severe assault, according to the police. They claim that Jones and Orr were not acquainted, but that the lady and Jones were involved in a “domestic scenario.”

Trouble’s record company, Def Jam, praised him as “an inspiration to the community he proudly represented” in an Instagram post.

Gucci Mane, T.I., and Meek Mill are among the artists who have paid homage.

Trouble, also known as Skoob, rose to prominence in 2011 with the tune Bussin’, which spawned collaborations with Gucci Mane and Young Thug.

He acquired a significant fanbase over the next decade, his music videos racked up millions of views online, and he collaborated with artists such as Pusha T, Fetty Wap, and The Weeknd.

Bring It Back, a collaboration with Drake and Mike WiLL Made-It, was released in 2018.
