Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2: Everything We Know

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Everything We Know

After volume one of Stranger Things’ fourth season, we’ve barely been able to peel the blanket away from our eyes—and the season’s final two episodes are just around the horizon!

The first seven episodes of season four were released on May 27, with Vecna making her debut and plenty of ’80s nostalgia, but the super-sized eighth and ninth episodes won’t be accessible until July 1.

What do Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) have in store for them? What does Hopper (David Harbour) and Joyce (Winona Ryder) have planned for the future? Eddie (Joseph Quinn) and Argyle (Eduardo Franco), two strangers, are they safe? What’s the deal with the Upside Down being stuck in time?

The cast guaranteed that the upcoming episodes would be scarier than anything we’d seen before in anticipation of season four. While volume one has already fulfilled that promise, we can’t help but believe there are some truly horrific moments ahead.

Continue reading to learn everything there is to know about the final two episodes of Stranger Things’ fourth season, which will premiere on Netflix on July 1st.

Episodes 2 and 3

Stranger Things season four volume two will be available on Netflix on July 1st. There’s enough to look forward to in the next edition, despite the fact that there are only two episodes. The Stranger Things writers’ room’s Twitter account confirmed the length of the finale on June 3rd. It will be 2 hours and 19 minutes.

A Kiss Between Joyce and Hopper

Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) and Jim Hopper (David Harbour) have been awaiting their reunion for seasons. And it appears that in volume two, we may get our dream.

“We have to give you what you want which is two, kind of attractive, middle-aged people making out,” Harbour remarked in an interview with E! News’ While You Were Streaming of Joyce and Hopper’s reunion.

However, by the end of book one, neither Joyce nor Hopper had kissed!

There are no answers to the question of the Upside Down.

Matt Duffer stated to Variety that “that isn’t going to get answered in Volume 2,” when asked if the last two episodes will explain why the Upside Down is locked in time on November 6, 1983.

However, he promised that this question will “lay the stage for some significant surprises in our final season.”

Fate of Argyle

We were anxious about Stranger Things newbies Eddie (Joseph Quinn) and Argyle (Dacre Montgomery) after we lost Barb (Shannon Purser) in season one, Bob (Sean Astin) in season two, Alexei (Alec Utgoff) and Billy (Dacre Montgomery) in season three (Eduardo Franco).

As Franco told E! News’ While You Were Streaming ahead of the launch of volume one on May 27, Aryle’s fate appears to be secure: “I’ve never played a character that died. That would have been quite an adventure. Isn’t that a bit of a reveal? I am not going to pass away.”

The subject of Will’s sexuality is brought up.

Will (Noah Schnapp) is expected to open up about his sexuality in the final two episodes of season four, according to the Duffer Brothers. Ross Duffer told TVLine, “We have story arcs and we have character arcs.” “We released the first two acts of this story because of how we structured [the season]. The last act, which consists of the final two episodes, wraps up a lot of loose ends in terms of character and plot, while also laying the groundwork for the final season.”

The Speaking Style of Eleven

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is introduced in season one as a socially awkward child/science experiment with a restricted vocabulary. However, viewers learn about Eleven’s upbringing in a flashback episode from season four. So, what happened to Eleven between the events of Season 4 and our first encounter with her?

Matt told Variety, “You learn a little bit more about this in Volume 2.” “I think I’m giving too much away, but she falls into a coma, wakes up with no memory of what happened, and Brenner raises her in complete seclusion.”

“One motive for the speech,” according to Matt.

One of the main characters may pass away.

Fans should be concerned about their favourite character’s fate in volume two, according to Ross Duffer. He told Variety, “I’d be concerned about the characters heading into Volume 2.” “Because it is a darker season, and the children are no longer children, I hope that makes sense. As a result, all of us are in jeopardy. And there’s a looming sense that things aren’t going to plan. You’ll have to wait and see whether or not they do.”
