A single person was killed in a shooting in downtown Las Vegas.
A shooting in central Las Vegas killed one person on Friday night.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Sierra Vista Drive, near South Maryland Parkway.
The homicide unit has been dispatched, according to police.
