Crime Stoppers Offering Increased Cash Reward for Information on Body Found in West Wichita

(CSU) – WICHITA, Kan. Kurt Krueger was killed last month in a west Wichita neighborhood, and Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County has raised their prize for information leading to an arrest.

An anonymous donor has offered an additional $5,000 in prize money to the tipper who offers information. This comes on top of the $7,500 reward offered by Crime Stoppers in this case.

Wichita Police Department (WPD) got a call of a guy down in the street in the 7900 block of W Cottontail on Sunday, May 1 at 2 a.m., according to Crime Stoppers.

Krueger was discovered unresponsive and not breathing when officers arrived. At the scene, he was declared dead.

Krueger was last seen wandering around his neighborhood 20 to 30 minutes before his death was discovered, according to the WPD investigation. He was hit by a car, which then fled the scene, according to Wichita police.
